Wanted to write “Travel addict”, but found it too cliché. Yet I do try to use my holidays for citytrips, visiting European cities in particular.
The best way to discover a city is to do as locals do: walk off the beaten track and wander around the city. Visit small restaurants and shops, show an interest in local culture and folklore, learn a couple of words of the language beforehand and stand out as the not-stereotype-tourist.
On this blog I’ll be sharing ways to get the most out of a short City Escape, while highlighting where to turn left or right to suddenly find yourself in small medieval alleys or amidst cosy brunch-worthy bistros.
I always get bubbly when people ask for travel advice, which is why I decided to put all my best travel tips into this blog.
